I now offer telephone Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) based sessions for people who have previously visited me for face-face sessions and who feel they would like a refresher or top-up session. CBT is a talking therapy and therefore perfectly suited to being carried out over the telephone.
How Do Telephone Sessions Work?
Telephone sessions operate in the same way as face-face therapy sessions. We will agree a convenient day and time for your telephone therapy session. I will call you and we will spend 50 minutes together. It is important that you are able to ensure that for the hour of your therapy session, you have no other distractions. Like face-face therapy sessions, you may be required to carry out CBT tasks and work through worksheets in between sessions, I will email or refer you to relevant worksheets.
